Bad Astronomy blogger Phil Plait talks about all things science related. In a post entitled Uncritical Thinking Skills he talks about the dangers of scientific ignorance and a lack of critical thinking. He talks about a satirical LHC hater site, which depicts a fake web cam that shows the LHC being swallowed by a black hole. While he admits this was funny at first, he decided otherwise when he thought about how these images really do have some people scared to death.
