I like Bill Dwight but he said something that made me crazy!

Bill said that the world could be swallowed by a black hole that the scientists at the LCH would create.

I immediately had to email and IM Jaz at WHMP so she could to tell Bill not to be a Hadron Hater. Thus this site HadronHater.com was born.

Bill contemplates the potential end of the world in the first 10 minutes of the show. My email is mentioned later in the last few minutes of the broadcast. You can listen to the entire September 9, 2008 radio program as an MP3 download. My 3 seconds of air time, by proxy, is at around 32 minutes.

It has been rumored that I would be a guest on the show to discuss the LHC, not that I am qualified to do so. I suppose I would be able to voice my confidence in the 10,000 scientists and engineers at the LHC and my belief that scientific reasearch is almost always a valid use of tax dollars.

Synopsis: Actually a radio/web show, Coast to Coast with George Noory,  that has been added to some stock LHC and science video. Interviews Nuclear Physicist Walter Wagner. Wagner implies in the first 5 minutes that there is a 50/50 chance that something will go wrong. Things that can go wrong include micro black holes sucking the earth into oblivion. Could take as little as 5years to destroy earth, as long as a billion. Also stranglets could cause a runaway fusion reaction causing the Earth to explode.
